Stop Feeling Like You’re Not Enough

Most of us have moments in life when we can’t stop feeling like we’re not enough. This is human. But we don’t have to stay stuck there. Today I bring you 3 simple hacks to move yourself to a better place within minutes.

Your life is someone else’s dream

When you can’t stop feeling like you’re not enough, it is sometimes hard to see the bigger picture. This specific feeling is often an indicator that you may be in a victim mindset right now.

However no matter how bad things are, I can guarantee that there is someone out there that would rather be in your shoes than theirs. It can be as simple as the fact that you live in a decent and clean house or that you are fully able physically. Maybe you have a stable job. Maybe you have children. It can be anything, but what is sure is that you have something than someone else would love to have but can’t.

So my first hack is look at what you do have. Do this consciously. Take a pen and paper, lit a candle, take a deep breath in and a full breath out and think about all the things you have in your life. Put a timer on and try to write for at least 10 minutes.

And yes this looks a little like a gratitude exercise. If you want to know more about the benefits of practicing gratitude daily, you might find this article interesting.

Clear your old beliefs

Just like sometimes we need to a good clearing out of the house to remove the things we are no monger using, sometimes we need to clear out the limiting beliefs in our head that are no longer serving us.

The best way to do this is:

  • identify the old belief (in this case it would be the belief that you are not enough)
  • create affirmations to start changing the belief.

When creating a new affirmation to remove an old limiting belief, it is recommended to take small steps. Ask yourself: what is the more positive statement that I genuinely believe today? You could target one area of your life where you feel you are enough. Examples: “I am a good daughter” or “most fo the time I am enough”.

Whatever you choose in this affirmation need to be true for you and needs to be a positive statement.

The spiritual answer to stop feeling like you’re not enough

I am conscious that not everyone is spiritual so if you’re not, feel free to jump to the next section!

That said if you are spiritual but feel like you’re not enough, it is likely that you are somehow blocking your abundance. We are not talking about financial abundance here, but general abundance.

In the video below, Gabby Bernstein shares with us the 6 common blocks to abundance:

  • the lack mentality
  • the fear that there is not enough to go around
  • comparison
  • the need to win
  • the fear of rejection
  • the fear of judgement

Gabby’s method for clearing those blocks is called the Universal Abundance Method. This is how it works:

  • step1: protect your desires so you can stay in alignment
  • step 2: focus on giving rather than getting
  • step 3: want more for others

The idea is to shift your focus from ”what can I get’ to ‘how do I feel’.

I personally use Gabby’s methods, including the Universal Abundance Method and it works really well for me. The minute I feel I am in a control or a lack mindset, I take a deep breath and consciously move myself to a more giving minsdet. I feel better instantly.
